Women and Power: Leadership between the Past and the Future

What are you talking about? The empowerment of women is one of the most remarkable revolutions of the past century. Women have changed the course of events and the forms  of  human culture. Women, created, ruled, struggled for their rights believes and homelands.

These are the women edited out of history, their stories erased, distorted, and forgotten. In politics if you want anything said, ask a man. If you want anything done, ask a woman. ~Margaret Thatcher.

Talking about women would be the toughest chore for anybody in this world.  It’s next to impossible. Sometimes, women themselves don’t know how inspired and impulsive they can be! Their generosity, kindness,  sacrifices and warmth make life easy, their love and beauty are a balm for hearts and God in his wisdom and greatness blessed women with the power to create life! A woman brought you into this world. So you have no right to disregard one.
History has been a witness that women are no less than men. And to say that a woman’s natural and only acceptable role and place is home is outrageous.
And borrowing Margaret Thatcher’s words: “Any woman who understands the problems of running a home will be nearer to understanding the problems of running a country.”

So we need a corrective history that reconstructs the female dimensions of human experience and accomplishment. We must reconsider our behaviours and line of conduct with women.
