Breaking the ice between generations is a dual responsibility. They must listen to each other wisely and calmly. In other words, they should put themselves in the shoes of the others and try to understand rather than trying to judge. They are different generations, and it’s normal that they think differently. But still!!! They simply are stubborn and too proud to give it a try.

Youth: The generation gap!!

Any person when young is hot blooded, has a troubled mind and sometimes is insolent. By result, put the blame on the elders for their failures and explode in anger or depression.
The youth must understand that they have the right to fight for their individuality, but they also must accomplish their duty towards their society.
It’s right that world is changing and new ideas are rising. This cannot scare anyone. However, it creates some worries among elders. We know that the good traits are inherited from the elders. Old generations were very conservative thinkers, what is right is right what is wrong is wrong, they refuse any compromise.  Our ideas, attitudes and perceptions too have changed dramatically and the youth today are definitely not giving any respect and regards to the old generation and their beliefs.

What shall we do to bridge this damned deep valley between us??

Young people must understand that they have the right to fight for their individuality, but they also must accomplish their duty towards their society.
